Vera House Luncheon

13407308_10209914154592793_8007623547885870680_nToday I attended the Vera House Luncheon with my sorority Syracuse Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to celebrate the creation of the Annette Briggs Memorial Award, created to honor our Soror Annette who was devoted to domestic violence awareness. The first recipient was my dear friend Syracuse City Councilor and Mothers Against Gun Violence Founder Helen Hudson. A powerful event. Vera House is one of my favorite clients. Their Executive Director Randi Bregman is one of CNY’S most influential women leaders.
