The Your Leadership Journey Book Tour and Conversations With The Leadership Diva have officially concluded for 2025. Designing and implementing these events is central to my commitment to being a legacy-building woman leader—one who pays her success forward by deepening, amplifying, and refreshing her impact through meaningful work with other women.

Each book talk and conversation had its own unique vibe. Something powerful happened for every woman in attendance. Emerging and established leaders shared common concerns, and together, we developed strategies to address them head-on.

What We Discovered Together

Throughout our gatherings, several powerful themes emerged. We explored:

• Building Confidence: Stepping into your power.

• Addressing “Imposter Treatment”: A phrase coined by Elizabeth Leiba in her book I Am Not Yelling: A Black Woman’s Guide to Navigating the Workplace.

• Dealing with Dream Killers: Protecting your vision from the noise.

• Communication & Branding: Mastering your style and personal brand.

• Self-Definition: Being self-defined and identifying your personal deal-breakers.

• Setting Boundaries: Protecting your energy and your peace.

• Believing in the Vision: Recognizing that you are who you think you are—YOU ARE HER!

These were beautiful gatherings attended by women who believe in me—and more importantly, who desire to believe in themselves. I want every woman leader to know: I believe in you, too.

A Closing Inspiration

I concluded each event by reading the closing inspiration from my book:

“Someone, somewhere is depending on you to do the thing you are called to do. That someone is YOU.”

Looking Ahead to 2026

The journey doesn’t end here! The Your Leadership Journey Book Tour and Talk will continue in 2026. Our 2026 roadmap includes:

• New Cities: Albany, Buffalo, and Ithaca.

• Campus Visits: Taking the tour to college campuses to inspire the next generation.

• National Reach: Following up on interest from across the country.

My Final Thought for You

I incubated the idea of writing a book when I incorporated my company in 2008. I didn’t allow that idea to become an active thought until 2020. My book was just a thought five years ago. A THOUGHT.

It was published in 2023.

If you are thinking about doing something, I invite you to take the first—and most important—step: GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION TO DO IT.

Free yourself to breathe life into your idea. The minute you take this step, the universe organizes to provide you with EVERYTHING you need to bring your idea to fruition. You can live your wildest dreams. You really can!

I live my wildest dreams before your eyes daily. My companies and my book exist only because I prayed and believed them into reality.
